Hoof Care Clinics

We provide a multi-faceted insight into the hoof, its function, and its care including going barefoot and using shoes properly. At the conclusion of the clinic those attending will have a more complete understanding of how the hoof is put together; how it functions;and how food, activity, housing, and hoof care can affect not only the hooves, but the entire horse. They will have the tools to properly assess the skills, knowledge, and work of a trimmer or farrier working on their horse. After an extended (2 day) clinic those in attendance will be able to trim their own horse's hooves and maintain them properly.
