Client Guidelines
Appointments must be cancelled at least three days prior to the scheduled time or clients will be billed for a trim.
Only horses scheduled will be worked on. This is necessary to make sure we arrive on time for appointments scheduled with other clients.
We reserve the right to determine if a horse is too dangerous to
work on or if we require another individual to hold the horse safely.
Unstarted and difficult horses can be done for additional fees (see
our fee schedule)
Horses are to be caught and ready to work on when we arrive unless
previous arrangements have been made for team service (see our rate
sheet). We will not catch horses out of the field or delay another
clients appointment because we had to wait for a horse to be caught.
If we are to work on a mare with a foal, please have the foal
nearby.
We are there to perform farrier services on your horse, not to train it. If you think your horse may need some work, or that you can not hold the horse safely, we can bring our trainer along to assist for an additional fee.
Payment is required at the time of service. Cash or cheques (OAC) will be accepted.
We ask that you maintain a regular trimming and/or shoeing cycle to avoid problems in the future. There is an additional service charge for overdue horses.
